should tach still be used at the blue wire on the test connecter at the inner fender on the drivers side? or should i have to go directly to an injector? there isn't too much info on the 05 so if anyone has indured this problem please let me know.

apperently the truck idles strange after a starter was installed.

go to the blue or the injector....I would start with the blue...i never had problems with the blue

I've done a bunch of these recently. You can actually get the blue tach wire at the fusebox under the dash. About the 3rd plug down from the top, all the way to the left will be a plug with the blue tach wire....will meter about 6.5 volts AC when at idle. Civic tach is in the same location.
