What kind of connectors does everyone use?

I was just curious to know what kind of splice connectors everyone uses to install alarms and remote starts and what kind of luck they have with them.  I usually solder all my connections but it takes much more time to do so (but it is still the most reliable way!)...I have used inline and t-taps but everyonce in a while one of those splice connectors gets a bad connection.  Is there some better than others?  Is any other types out there that might work better?

I use solder for the simple fact that if a customer comes back and says somethings not working i always assume in my head that the connections are good. And always i find that they are so if you want a high quality and a solid connection that will last forever use the solder if properly a plied theres no better. If you use solder like 12 volt said about 3m taps you will want to insulate your solder joints with shrink tuibing or 3m tape  super 33 or better. good luck.

Of course soldering is best, but you can't always get into tight places with an iron without burning the insulation
off some other wire. And solder is harder to back out if you make a mistake. If you can settle for second best
use T-taps. Thier quick, effective and provide easy access for testing a wire or removing the whole mess if you
decide you want a different alarm down the road. Just be sure you use the correct size tap for the wire size. Don't
try to force a smaller tap on a bigger wire. It may close and appear to be locked but may not be.

if you talk to any shop they all will use crimps(because it's fast and saves money) but when they all go home and do their own car it's solder, tape and shrink wrap over it.
