Hello,

I have a 98 dodge neon.  I was wondering if there is a wire that goes 12 volts when car is off.  And 0 volts when the ignition is on.   I have never heard of it but i figured you guys are the smart ones.   Thank.  you.  Stephen

You could use a relay and make a line like that.  Hook it up to an ign hot line and have it normally closed from the batt.  When you turn on the ign, the coil is energized and the power drops out.  So run a fused line from the battery to 30.  Run a fused line from an ign circuit to 85 and run 86 to ground.  That leaves 87a as your source.

Someone correct me if I am wrong on this.
