I have 1990 camry that I want to install a Valiant rs201 remote starter. I do not have the wiring diagram. On the back of the unit are the wire locations, but some I do not know where or if to use them.
The ones with the asterisk in front are the ones I need help with. There is no alarm on the vehicle.
This is what it says:
BLACK: SYSTEM GROUND
*BROWN: SENSOR BYPASS TO SENSOR TRIGGER WIRE
*BLUE: SENSOR BYPASS TO ALARM SENSOR TRIGGER WIRE
*GRAY: GROUND OUT WHEN REMOTE STARTER ACTIVE
WHITE: BRAKE INPUT POSITIVE
BLUE/WHITE: HOOD PIN SWITCH NEGATIVE
*ORANGE: RECEIVER INPUT NEGATIVE
*GREEN: VACUUM INPUT NRGATIVE (N.C. VACUUM LOOP MUST BE CUT )
YELLOW: +12V OUT TO PARKING LIGHT
PURPLE: +12V OUT TO STARTER
ORANGE: +12V OUT TO ACC.
YELLOW: +12V OUT TO IGNITION
RED: MAIN POWER INPUT +12V
Any help would be appreciated.
