i'm installing a ultra start 4255 and wonder if theres away to hook up the led from the viper to it. i know the antenna has the led on the ultra. wonder if additional led is possible to use also?

You can hook up as many LED as heart desired if you run a relay to power them up. The only caution you have to take is to make sure that the LED you are using is rated for 12V as some LED that comes with the alarm unit can only handle 3 to 4 volts. If you connect them to a 12V power supply you will end up burning them.

oh i see- what wire would you have to tap into to on ultra start to add led?

Stater Kill Wire is one of the wire you can use.
