I am looking for a window module that will raise, lower & vent 4 windows.  If nothing is available I can live without venting but I would really like to have up and down.  Also, I have a GM with a factory moonroof/sunroof (the kind that pops up when you press one way on the switch and sinks down and retracts into the roof/headliner when you press the other way on the switch).  Is there a module out there that is smart enough to know that which position the sunroof is and know which way to apply power?

Also, I've seen the modules on E-bay for like $15 bucks.  I know that I can wire 4 of the modules together to do what I want it to do.  Are these modules worth it?  I am the kind of guy that would rather pay more for something that is better quality and I would also like to keep the installation nice and neat with 1 module instead of 4.  But like I said...I can deal with it if I HAVE to.

Hi Mr_Fusion, yes, there are 4 window modules available that you can use to control 4 windows up or down, or 2 windows up and down. For your sunroof, you could use a single window module for each direction, but rather than using one pulse to control both directions, use two separate pulses or incorporate a latching relay to switch between each module.

You can find 4 window modules for about $50.00 and up, 2 window modules sell for about $25 and up. On some window modules, to vent the windows, applying a second pulse on the same trigger lead will stop them in either direction. I beleive Clifford makes one with the venting feature that will crack the windows after they have been raised.
