To cut a long story short,

Got a P reg crysler neon 2.0 LX from the previous owner. a single black key, this key opens the doors and works in the ignition. but the  engine will not start. phone the dealership they said get the motor transported to the service center. And they would under take the work for 700 quid (700+850) £1550 repair bill.

Ive got the immobilizer sitting in front of me. it has two relays on the pcb type numbers is (ep2-2nost) would it be possible to fool the immobilizer by manually opening or closing the relays.

On the pcb it says it is a single point immobilizer, 1995 rockwell int made in the usa.

Second question would it be possible to get the schematics/wiring diagram for this unit. As i dont want to spend a fortune on the motor.

Ive had a look at https://www.keylessride.com yeh fine they can supply the fob BUT ** This remote must be programmed by your local dealer, or a local KeylessRide Locksmith Partner

*Dealership prices may vary. Contact your local dealership for actual prices. Does not include labor charges for programming services.

Bypass kits would not be an option as i dont have the original transponder keys.

Any facts or info would greatly be appreceiated

If I cant get this sorted out as a last resort, the motor will be going to the scrapheap.

the motor has nothing to do with the factory immobilzer, it's built into the ECM and keycylinder.

there is no way of bypassing the immobilizor system that I know of, but a dealer can program keys with their scan tool.

extreme1 no pun intendedsod the dealer the immobilizer has a bypass built in you can also use the same approach to reprogram new keys yourself, all you need is philips screwdriver, prybar and a length of wire.posted_image
