doing a remote start system on my truck... alarm is calling for a connection on a "ground out when running" on the vehicle...

whats a good wire to use or way to work this in?

This wire is found on the remote start unit. It's a wire that goes to (-) ground when remote start is activated and rests at nothing. It may also be called a status output wire.

Thanks Jeff... I actually re-read the wiring diagram more closely and discovered that this is a neg when running OUTPUT .. ah hah! so... the alarm is in and works great...

btw, it was a Harada HCS-900 that I was installing on my truck. I love the alarm. I put one on my wife's 2000 mustang and then reinstalled it on her 04 impala. it works great and never had a problem with it.
