I have a 01 silverado and when I installed the alarm I cannot lock the doors with the remote, but it will unlock with the remote. And when I arm the truck and then disarm it and unlock the door with the remote and open it, the factory alarm goes off not the new alarm. Also whenever the alarm is disarmed and I open the door it does not show that either door is open on my lcd.

You need to hook up a disarm output from the Phoenix to the factory disarm wire on the pick-up. As far a locking goes, did you test the wire you grabbed? You may have grabbed the wrong wire. As far as the LCD not showing the doors opening: Are the doors at least setting off the siren? How did you connect the door triggers to the alarm?

There is no wire for disarm output on the alarm,so is there another wire that I can use ?
Yes I know I have the right wire for the lock, but on the alarm output to the lock wire, when I press lock on the remote It only reads 1 or 2 volts, so I wonder if its an alarm problem, but since the doors dont lock it will not arm. But if I press the querry button on the remote to check the status on the it truck and one of the doors is open it will show it open so I guess the door pins are fine ? Any help

does this Phoenix alarm have (+)POS outputs for the locks? your truck is POS
Lock is Lt.blue
Unlock is white
factory disarm is Lt. Green NEG(-)
Use your unlock wire from the brain and a relay to trigger the disarm, at the same time as unlock....Remember unlock is POS and disarm is NEG....thats why a relay is needed
