I just bought an '05 Civic "VP" Coupe. This model does not come with power door locks/windows, but I was confident that I could install them myself.
Does anyone have any experience with installing power door locks in Civics? How hard or easy will it be to get the door panel off? Will I need a special tool to get the panel off? (I have some experience with car stereo installation, but it's been a lot of years lol)
I am looking at the 2 lock kit offered by Commando Car Alarms, I noticed it said that no switch is required, however, I was able to locate an OEM door lock switch that would work beautifully with this if possible.
