I am installing a clifford matrix rs 1.1 on a 2000 corolla. for some reason the starter will not engage even with the key. i have hooked up all of the wires correctly (they have been checked about a million times my myself and two of my friends). in doing a continuity test between the two ends of the starter wires through the relay i have found that the starter circuit is closed when the key is in the off and acc positions, but when the key is in the run or start positions the circuit is open so the starter will not engage. The only wires that i have not connected yet that have to do with remote start are the tach wire and hood pin wire (other than the auxiliary wires that i dont think i need). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
