My 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 will not completely start in the very cold winter mornings but will work when it is milder (around 40 degrees and hotter). When the starter is pushed the Jeep will crank and start (Vroom) then shut off. This will happen three times and then needs to be reset. After resetting it, about three times, it will finally run. I have tried tach and volt/time default settings. If the key is used to start the Jeep it works fine. Someone told me there is a pin that needs to be changed on Chrysler vehicles for tach threshold but I don’t know if I should change it. Does anyone have any ideas how to help me?
Thank you,
Sal
