I have a 1997 3000GT manual. I have been looking at the Ungo MS 2007 and the Aladdin 2000. What are the pros and cons of these, and are there any other alarms that I should look at (something under $200). Will the remote starter work with a manual tranny? I am also interested in having the option of adding window roll up modules. Thanks in advance. ------------- Kyle

The aladdin will work on the manual tranny and has AUX channels for the window roll up and roll down. We sell the Aladdin here: https://www.velocitymotorsport.com/security/aladdin_alarm_starter.html ------------- Jeff

Thanks Jeff. I have a couple of questions for you (not sure if this is the appropriate place). I have found the same alarm on https://cgi.ebay.com/dll?ViewItem&item=1393594282 Ebay for $170 shipped. Are you completely firm in your prices? I would prefer to order any products from you, because I have seen how helpful you are on this site. Do you carry the window modules, and if so, how much? Does the alarm include everything and instructions, so that I could figure out how to install it myself (having never installed an alarm before, but I am pretty good at figuring things out)? Thanks again. ------------- Kyle

I would be a little cautious about buying an alarm on ebay. Chances are the person tried to install it and all the wires are too short or he fried something that wasn't covered under warranty. I have seen too many people get screwed on ebay!

yeah, I was a bit warry of ebay, but I think this seller checks out. It is a company, with good responses. their website is www.rx4speed.com they have multiple units for sale ($200 shipped on their website) ------------- Kyle

I have seen many units that were purchased through ebay having something missing or something damaged to some extend. Having you to ship it back or something. Check out Jeff with Velocity Motor Sports he will take care of you! ------------- Sound Pressure

YEAH, Jeff would be a better choice I think too. You cannot get better technical support from anyone else I think. That is a good unit in my opinion. --AMBUSH

Jeff, I noticed that the Aladdin 2002 has been taken off your site. You also mentioned something about it on groupbuycenter. Can you give an update? Should I hold out or just purchase the 2000 now and add on the features I want? Thanx! Jae -------------

Hey Jae, unfortunately the marketing for the 2002 did not fly too well with the manufacturer/wholesaler and the system will be replaced with another system. It's comparable to the a-2000 but not as good as the International version of the a-2002. There seemed to be too much red tape over the FCC regulations in the USA and trying to sell from Canada to the USA. The best bet is to go for the a-2000 as the new units are still being sent over for sampling and from what I understand, they will have the same features as the a-2000 does.

damn US FCC regulations! Thanks again for everyone's help. I went ahead and ordered the Aladdin a-2000 and some modules from Jeff. Great guy to deal with. Hey Jeff, will you notify me when it ships? I guess it will be here sometime next week. Did you figure anything out for Bob with the Spyder? ------------- Kyle

Still working on the schematics he emailed me. They were a little hard to read. I think it should work with enough modules and relays anything is possible

Hey Jeff, Did you get Bob's thing figured out? Do you need him to send you something that is easier to read? Any idea on when I should expect my alarm to arrive? Thanks again. ------------- Kyle
