I just received my compustar. It doesn't come with a tech sheet. Would anyone be able to give me some additional info?
On some models I know that the E-brake wire has to have ground when brake is on and 12v when brake is off. Is this the case with my unit?
Can the 250ma status output (-) handle bypassing the clutch and running the bypass for the key?
Can I run the status output directly to one side of the clutch switch or use a relay?
I think all the rest of the wires are obvious. Any programing information and extras that arent obvious would be appriciated.
Thanks guys
hope to be done today (finally)

E-brake wire has to have ground on your unit. If you have +12V run a relay.
"Can the 250ma status output (-) handle bypassing the clutch and running the bypass for the key?"
NO, YOU MUST RUN A RELAY, diode isolate both.
"Can I run the status output directly to one side of the clutch switch or use a relay?"
Use a relay.

Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.

I have the ones that are in the Users manual, just not the installers manual.
Ok, how about just this. How do I learn both the 2way and 1way remotes. Just incase so I can get by.
Toggle ignition ON-OFF 5 times fast ( end in the OFF position ) and then press the LOCK button on 1 way transmitter and within 2 seconds press button # 1 on the 2 way remote control. Now both transmitters are programmed. You have to do this all within a 6-8 seconds window otherwise it will flash 2 times to notify you that iy's out of remote programming mode.
