I recently installed an ultra start 4255 that the alarms(siren) been going off , but lights dont flash at times for no apparent reason when armed and wondering if it has to be programed first? I figured the built-in shock sensor wouldnt  trigger it on becasue it hasnt been setup yet. thanks.

This may sound kind of stupid but did you remember to hook up the Main ground.

I've forgot before when I was rushing and pluged in the unit and the thing started acting screwy.

Hope this helps,

This may sound kind of stupid but did you remember to hook up the Main ground in the 10 or 14 pin harness.

I've forgot before when I was rushing and pluged in the unit and the thing started going nuts.

Hope this helps,

I do have the ultra 4255 grounded at the same place as the horn(siren) relay. does that make a difference?
