Well here the ? i got.... i have the hornet do it yourself remote the black 2 button remote and i know the viper160 remote with the 4 buttones (lock,unlock,aux,n star)......    i forgot the model  numbers but i know its compatiable... the question i have is  if you can use the lock n unlock buttons on the viper and program it that way sine the old remote is just lock/unlock one button???   thanx for your help....

if it is compatialbe it may work. in the instruction manural it says how to change the channels around, that if you alarm can do it , never delt with a hornet.
