Anyone know how to bypass the factory alarm to do a remote start in a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse? Thanks

You need to arm and disarm the factory unit. The wires are located in the ECU on the pass. side near the kick panal.

Arm is RED / GRN NEG(-)

Disarm is BLUE NEG(-)

Unless your speaking of the ignition imobilizer, this should help. If not....you need a bypass unit, of witch there are MANY to choose from.

Thanks, but I am talking about the the immobilizer. Time to buy a passkey.
