How do I disable a Ford F150 1997 factory alarm. I installed a Clifford remote entry start and alarm and every 4-5 times I arm and lock the truck the factory alarm arms and I have to use the door key to disarm the factory alarm as unlocking the truck with the Clifford wont disarm it . Any ideas ? Thanks

It's in the door boot harness, send a ground pulse to it.. (- pulse before) .. I don't remember for sure but you might want to check and see if it has a GEM in it. roll the window down and reach in and lock the door with the switch.. let it sit for 5 min and try to unlock it with your alarm remote .. if it unlocks you dont have a GEM and don't worry about it. If it doesn't unlock then you need to send a ground pulse to wake up this module.. I belive it is a black and yellow in the driver kick...
