Ok, it says that on light impacts it'll indicate one light, harder impacts another. I tried to personally move the car around, I'm a good 220 lbs... That is like 1/7 to 1/10 of the weight of normal vehicles I believe, no trigger. How much force does it take to trigger these alarms?

tilting your car is a different story than a shock impact. Knock on your window gradually hit it harder until you get some sort of response. If that doesn't work have your installer raise the sensitivity, the shock sensor is adjustable

is it possible for me to change the sensitivity on the Viper 791 XV myself? or the installer has to do it with a special tool?

look under neath the dash by the steering collum most times they put it there and if it's there there's a knob on the sensor that u can turn to adjust it

the viper has a standard shock sensor that can be adjusted with a small screw driver. remember, small adjustments have big affects, we are talking less then a quarter turn to make something not sensitve to very sensitive. its best to let an installer do it, because sensitve shock sensors will go off all the time. like when it rains, or a car goes by, your neighbors will hate you and you will never know if the car is really being tampered with.
