Hi Folks,

I am trying to identify the model of the unit in my vehicle so I might fix what is ailing it.

It is a "Delta Vehicle Security" unit that was installed in late 1999. There are no other identifying markings on the case or PCB. This sort of tells me that it is low-end model.

thx, A

Is this the 3 button 2 way unit ? Delta along with some other companies from the late 90's all came out with the same product. Try doing s search in Crimestopper site and see if you find something there that might match what your after. They have very similiar proiducts between the two companies.

Thx for the info Jeff,

It is a one way - 4 button remote.  ---> https://www.car-alarms.com/acces.html (bottom of page, item# T-4b)

After serching the CrimeStopper site, I found CS-9704RS to be close. (but not exact) https://www.crimestopper.com/techweb/ProductDiagrams/cs9704.PDF

I guess my real problem with the Passlock system... Occasional "CRANK - NO START", with remote and/or key. (security light flashing on dash when this happens)

I need to find the bypass modual (or resistor) that was installed by the technician.

regards,

Al
