I recently installed a remote start in a 2001 olds alero and it starts the car, but my accessory stuff(radio, head lights, accessories) all come on instead of the HVAC system along with my service vehicle soon light.  Did I hook up an incorrect wire?  I saw in another post that there are two green wires.  Right now its on the dark green wire, which one is the correct connection  Also I have a factory keyless entry system that is non-functional in an 01 Malibu.  I bought the reciever and fobs, had it programmed, but it doesn't operate.  Does the BCM need to be reprogrammed to operate the keyless entry reciever, or a relay plugged in somewhere?  The dealer couldn't figure it out, he would push the lock/unlock button, the BCM sees the function, but won't do anything.  Eventually I want to put an add on remote start that works with the factory keyless entry on this malibu, assuming the keyless entry will work.  What kit is a good add on to an OEM keyless entry, it seems like less work just to do an add-on.  I'm more interested in the factory keyless so that the radio personalization feature will work with each driver.
