I want to install a remote start on a new Dodge Truck but I was told I need some resistors or something. If anyone can help please do. I am lost. Thanks in advance.

It is a 2002 Dodge Ram with keyless entry but I want to add a unit that is remote start and keyless entry in one unit. I have the unit but it says something about some resistors and I am not real sure about all this. Thanks in advance.

you need to tell us if the truck has a factory alarm as well this will tell us what resistors for the locks . as for the parking light the wire is PURPLE / yellow and is negative @ the switch and you need to put a 650 ohm resistor inline to ground to activate the parking lights. let us know if you have an alarm and we can give you the lock info.
