Can anyone tell me if this system can do driver's priority unlock like the factory remote keyless entry? First button press unlocks driver's door, second button press unlocks all others. I would like the Compustar to do the same thing. The dealer said he could only wire it for driver's door unlock or all doors unlock with button I. Is he right?

Yes it can, but you have to access the driver's door unlock wire via the motor ( yellow on the EX and lt. GREEN/ red on the LX )

Jeff, I remeber the installer telling my that it "could" be done but would cost extra since he would have to run wire to the doors. As it stands now, the Compustar system is using the factory module for door locks and trunk release. I guess my question was could the drivers priority unlock be done through the factory module? Now that I think about it, would it be better to hook the Compustar system directly to locks/trunk bypassing the factory system completely or to take advantage of it? Mike

What I normally do for driver priority door unlock is grab the motor wire ( having to run the trigger wire through the door boot into the cab ) and then wire it to the 1st unlock wire on the Compustar and then wire the second unlock wire to the OEM module. Retaining the OEM module and using the wire there will be easy. Take advantage of this and use the wires given.
