I am installing the viper 791 xv into a friends 99 Durango and was wondering what the ORANGE / ground when armed output gets conected to. I think that I have figured out pretty much everything else except the door lock triggers. Does the Durango have the possitive triggers and will I need to put diodes in them? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

The orange wire is to operate the AUX channel. This is mainly used for trunk release/window modules ect.

As for the locks,

Power Lock:		ORANGE / VIOLET	# PIN CONN. BELOW DR. FUSE BLOCK **
Power Unlock:		PINK/VIOLET	# PIN CONN. BELOW DR. FUSE BLOCK **

The link is in PDF format. These door locks are going to require relays (2) to work. Dont worry about the module shown, just use the second diagram where it shows how to connect the relays. You will also have to cut the lock/unlock wires.

ok I am just feeling a little dumb here but I have one more question for you. What does the WHITE/ blue remote start (-) activation input connect to.

Give that wire a ground pulse and it will activate the remote start. Can be used for a push button start. Serves the same function as pressing your remote start button on the keypad.

As a rule of thumb, leave it disconnected. It doesent really serve a purpose. Like stevent said if you hook it up to a push button switch by pushing the push button it will start the vehicle. Kind of pointless if your already in the vehicle you might as well use the key.

I use it in my car to leave it running and take the key out instead of having to press the button on the keypad. Just a little bit easier.
