i just had my alarm/remote installed at the shop and now the drivers side window has a bug, when i asked the guy he told me it was a lexus chip problem or some crap, anyways the drivers side window. when i click the auto window up the window goes up and then goes back down about half way, also if i close the window without the auto feature and i hold it a second too long it goes back down half way and stops. what the hell did he do?? what should i tell him to check?? or how can this be fixed?? any help is appreciated, thanks
Having the alarm/remote installed.
Was the window roll up and down part of the install deal that you pay for?
Or after having just the alarm/remote install the window has a problem now?

Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.

the windows were not in the deal,
the window now has a problem after having JUST the alarm/remote starter installed
could it be anything with the lexus factory settings?? i know you can roll all the windows down if you hold the unlock button on your key.

Yes, that is exactly what it is. There is no bug in the system. To remedy the problem go back to your installer and get the Door Lock / Unlock Pulse Duration set to 0.8 Second. At the moment it is probably set at 2.5 Second or long enough pulse that the window is coming down when the doors are open. Get the setting of the pulse duration back to 0.8 SECOND you should not have any more trouble with the windows.

I talked to the installer and he said it was already programmed to 0.8 and he double checked and said it was....any other ideas?
