hey wuts up everyone,

i bought a 1985 trans am about a year ago and i dont know what was wrong with the alarm. the alarm is a stealstopper model 80, i cant find any info on this alarm but my problem is that the alarm worked before with the previous owner because he was my friend. the alarm seems to be in valet mode because the led is always on without blinking. also the valet switch is just a switch that is a on/off switch. does anybody know how to work this?? please help me. thanks

i will check about the warranty but i still dont undestand about the vallet switch. i dont know how to work it. do i have to turn on the ignition on or what?
