hi folks,

Just received a replacement remote for my (unknown model) Delta RS/RE unit from Panther. The instructions are plain enough.

Key on/off 3 times to on - one chirp... Press valet switch for 5secs. - three chirps... Press #1 button on transmitter - one chirp... Continue pressing valet switch until  LED starts flashing...[left hand in, left hand out, do the hokey pokey...]

My question is with missing components...

1) LED's I have. No problem there.

2) Would a "SPST Momentary Switch" be suitable for the valet switch?

3) There is no siren with this setup and there are only three unused wires on the "ten pin connector" and I'm not sure there is a place to connect it if I had one.                                                                                               {Brown-alarm sensor input / Orange-alarm auxillary input-'neg / Violet-sensor outout}                                   Think I could I get away without the siren?
