I have a a compustar 2w900fmas in my 94 Eagle Talon Tsi/Awd I installed it about 5-6 months ago and it was perfect until yesterday. Everything works fine except remote start. I hit disarm then start as always then I get three chirps, for unable to start then code 1 which is engine on. What the hell? I know it isn't running. I tore it apart today and triple checked every connection, reset and reprogramed everything. I even put in a new battery just in case. Does anyone have an idea on this one. This is the 7th or 8th of these I've installed and the only problem I've had. Thanks in advance if you have an answer.

Unplug the unit for about 10- 15 minutes and reprogram everything. Post your results.

Thanks! It works 100% now. However I remembered something as I was rechecking all my connections for the 400000th time as I was waiting the 15 minutes, on my 94 the accesory wire in the ignition harness is NOT blue/black as stated in the database on this site or any other site it is blue/red. Maybe it's a fluke but I doubt it. If that info helps anyone I'm glad I can help. My car has either a solid blue or a blue/red. Both have power on acc. but the blue/red controls blower motor and more importantly engine fans. When I origionally installed it and let it run with the r/s the temp would start to climb so I again rechecked everything and found the culprit. Thanks again for your help. I doubt I would have thought of that for a while.
