Hello, does anybody know if it is possible to bypass the original startblocker(hope its called that in english, wegfahrsperren in german) on a 1997 Audi A4? have installed a remote start system, but the blocker stops the engien right after it has started using the remote.

Do I need a bypass module, or is it possible to fool the car in any way?

Apreciating for any help on this subject!

I have not done this car, but providing you with a wire diagram is the best that I can do.

Have you got the TACH SIGNAL learned on the remote starter?

My wiring diagram does not indicate that a bypass module is require. One thing you can try to do before remote starting your car is unlock the doors first which will disarm the factory alarm and then remote starting the car. If that fails to start the car put the key in the key cylinder and remote start it. That will give you a good indication weather a bypass module is require.

Thanx, but that was not quite what i was looking for, the remote start is a part of an alarmsystem, and will not work when doors are unlocked....

In test mode i try whith key in ignition and without, only works when key is in, waht I'm wondering is if theres a way to disarm the startblocker without a bypass-module? there is no original alarmsystem on the car, only the startblocker, little white box on the left side of the center console, right over the gas-pedal.

I think he might be referring to the transponder system. Looking for a transponder bypass.
