Hello. I have installed a CrimeGuard 745i2 into my 2005 xB. This alarm used to be in my Integra, but i upgraded to a Viper 791. Anyway, the CrimeGuard is working fine on the xB except that i cannot get it to LOCK the doors when the alarm is armed. However, i was able to finally get it to UNLOCK when disarming.
I realize, on the Scions, the UNLOCK requires a double pulse (-) and the Crimeguard 745i2 only puts out a single unlock pulse. It has no option for a double pulse. (maybe the Crimeguard 745i4 has this option). After further research, i found out that i could tap into the UNLOCK wire (blue/red) on the passenger side kick panel instead, because it only requires a single pulse.
Does the brain need to send out a double pulse for it to LOCK? If so, then i guess im out of luck. I'm connecting to the LOCK wire (Blue/White) located in the drivers side kick panel, as suggested by the wiring guides i have seen. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks. That looks like the wiring guide i was using. I can get it to unlock, but i cannot get it to lock when i connect the lock wire from the brain to the blue/white wire on the 14 pin plug located in the drivers side kick panel

you using a DMM? disconnect your lock wire from the blue/white and check it for it's neg. locl pulse when you are. did you also meter the blue/white with a DMM per the wiring info?

i was about to meter the blue/white wire and then i remembered there were 2 violet wires on the door lock harness that were grounded when i had the alarm in my integra. so i grounded those 2 violet wires and everything's fine now. Thanks for your help!
