I am having a hard time finding the door trigger wire in a 99 Ford Expo, does anyone know where and what color it is Thanks

You are talking about a '99 Expedition, right? If so, there is a 16 pin connector in the passenger's kick panel area that will have a BLACK/ blue wire in it. It will show +12 volts only when any of the doors are open. It should also cover the liftgate.

you can also catch it above the brake pedal there is a harness all the way up to the metal panel and it is in there with the door locks it might save you a few minutes.
