Does anyone know why my 2-way pager remote no longer activates my alarm.  It beeps when I push to arm and disarm and attempt a remote start (which never worked) but nothing happens with the alarm.  Yet the alarm will still passive arm if I'm not in valet mode.  I have tried to reprogram but that didn't work either, still just beeps.  My battery did malfuntion after it went dead but jump started and the alarm works like it's supposed to, it just can't be activated remotely.  Help Please!

Nevermind, my sensor was unplugged.  Don't I feel stupid.  Okay now why is my door constantly being triggered.  No lights on anymore, hooked the door trigger to the - side of driver courtesy light.  Took care of problem with the light staying on all the time so maybe it was hooked up to the door pin which could be bad which may be why the light was staying on all the time.  If that's the case, why wouldn't my courtesy lights still be on after I relocated connection?

You need to make sure that you are connected to the wire that changes polarity when you open or close the door. If the wire shows ground when the door is open, then you need to make sure that you are using the alarm's negative door trigger input. If the wire shows +12 volts when the door is open, then you need to make sure that you are using the alarm's positive door trigger input. Hope this helps.
