I am having a problem with getting the remote start to work on this vehicle. It will crank over. This what I have hooked up so far: Alarm Truck Red +12 Pnk/Blk Purple +Starter Yellow Pink + Ignition ? Orange + Acc ?
Blue/Blk (-) 2nd ignition ? Yellow/Wht (-) 2nd accessory ?
Had these blue/blk hooked up to relays and still couldn't get it to work. Here is the relay info i used. Secodndary Ignition Output 87- (+) 12 30 amp 86- (+)12 3.5 amp 30- Vehicles Second Primary Ignition Wire 85- Blue Black wire.
I am having issues with this. Any input would be greatly apprecitated. Thank You

Hey iamdr7, No doubt this truck has a Sentry Key immobilizer. Got to any security shop and they'll have what you need. ------------- Prepare your future. It wasn't the lack of stones that killed the stone age.

For the accessory and the second accessory do you have too hook both both wires for each one?

So each wire from the ACCESSORY|green & orange and SECOND ACCESSORY|blue & blk/wht need to be connected to relay. So that would be 4 relays. Then what wire from the remote start unit would be hooked up. I listed those in my first. Thanks

no you dont need to do blue or BLACK/ white, just if you want to have the radio and windows work on remote start but not necesary. just personal preference. i never hook it up for my dealers i tell them its not critical for the vehicle that when the customer gets in and turns the key on the radio and windows will work. and they wont pay for the extra relays and labor. if you remote start then your outside hence no reason for the radio.
