I've got myself a cheap no-name 2 way paging alarm with a remote start feature (i realise everyone is shaking their heads right now) and i've got a couple of install questions. I've attached the wiring diagram incase someone recognises the loom.
The (optional) remote start socket has the green wire showing a connection to a park brake light, which i'm guessing means the alarm won't energise the start relays unless it sees a +ve 12 volts from the hand brake light. If I was going to be installing this on a kawasaki ninja 1996 motorcycle I think i should be fine to run this to the neutral light to achieve the same purpose?!?!
The diagram also shows a purple wire leading to what looks like the ignition coil in the diagram. Is this an induction sensing wire to check to make sure the starter has actually successfully started the car and if so it'll have to be sensing current to work the remote start successfully won't it?
Finally, the digram doesn't actually show the piezo siren anywhere, kind of important for a decent alarm i'd have thought. I think it'll be the purple lead which has a tiny little diagram of what i guess is a siren, with -ve of the siren earthed? Any ideas if that is the one?
Cheers
Scott

its hard to read diagram but i will try to help the green wire will have to be hooked up or the starter will not engage i think you can go through the neutral light as long as when the light comes on it sees a ground and not the other way around where it gets 12 volts hot when the light comes on .
the purple coil wire will need to be hooked up to your tach signal wire to tell the module its running otherwise it will engage the starter after the bike is running
as far as the siren wire i am not sure what that symbol is if thats the siren then yes hook it to the siren and other side will go to ground sorry i could not be more help but i have not installed this brand of remote start good luck
