To test if you have OEM alarm, lock  the doors and have the window open. Wait about 1 minute and then unlock the door from the inside and open the door. If the vehicle has an alarm it will sound and all you have to do is put the key in the driver's door and unlock the door to disarm the alarm. As far as the door locks go, here's what I have for information:

POWER LOCK|lt. GREEN/ red       |-  |DKP white 22 pin connector
POWER UNLOCK|RED / blue            |-  |DKP white 22 pin connector

how much voltage should you be reading when the locks are in use?also how do you check the wires with the system being a neg. triger?

Voltage at rest will be about 12 volts ( some neg systems are 5 volts ) but when you trigger the switch it will go to ground.

You cannot extend the antenna, it is tuned.  Make sure your ground is on the kick panel, not the dash.....that might help
