I installed a remote start/alarm in a 2000 durango for a friend.  Everything works perfect.  THe car starts, the alarm sets.  THe doors lock and unlock.  Everything works.  But the damn factory alarm goes off all the time.  I did research on here, and I installed resistor's.  Still same problem.  Is there any way someone can send me a couple of the correct resistors to use and where to install them.  My local radioshack really sucks with what they have.  My friend is looking to kill me over this :(    I believe I can get away with just installing the resistors on the wire that will disable the factory alarm.  But if any of you installers on here, can tell me exactly how you hooked it up and send me the resistors you used, that would be awesome.

Just email me at crudeau@ww-supply.com and I will give you my address and let me know what I owe you and how much shipping is.

DODGE, DURANGO, 2000, Power Lock/Unlock - light GREEN/ orange, negative polarity.

Lock/arm is negative trigger thru a 647 ohm resistor. Unlock/disarm is negative trigger thru a 1562 ohm resistor. MUST use relays. Unlock requires a double pulse.

I'm aware of that, but I can't get close enough to the resistor values with my local radioshack.  Velocity Motors is sending me some prewired relays and I'll go with that.

Thanks for the response though.
