i posted before do you have the installation  book that came whith the alarm. If  so it tells you how to reprogram the remote to the alarm. Ok here goes again you will need to open a door, then you will need to turn the key to the run position.  now you have 15 seconds to press the valet the number of times for the desired function.press the button once and press once more but hold it in this time now it wll chirp once now while holding in the button press the button on the remote that u want to use it will chirp once telling you it has been learned . you are done good luck.

here is the other configurations for that alarm if you press the valet once you will get arm/disarm/panic on the same button.if you press the valet 2 times that will be silent mode on whatever button you use on the remote.if you press it three times you will get the auto trunk pop on whatever button you choose.NOw i told you to use the one button configuration cause you said the remotes  were not working at all.

I tried that and the siren will not chirp to acknowledge. I checked the valet switch with an ohmeter and it is fine. I checked that the green wire was getting 12 volts when the door was closed and 0 volts when open. I checked all my ground wires and they are fine. I don't know what is wrong with the alarm.

what kind of car is this alarm in ? are you sure you are using the corect door trigger wire?theres really nothing it could be it should allow you in the programming mode. the way i posted earlier is the only way to get into the programing of that alarm.i twont be the ground.does the alarm work fine other than the remote not working and the fact that you cant get into programing mode?is anything else not working on it?did you try to get into the programing without the door open?if you are using the wrong door trigger wire the door trigers may work opossite.example would be the alarm will only triger when  you close the door instead of opening How many yellow wires are on the brain?did you check if the yellow wire sees 12 volts when the ignition is on ?

The alarm is on a 91 Mercedes 190E. I'm positive i'm using the correct door wire. Now that the remotes don't work anymore, I can't arm the car so I can't tell if the alarm is good or not. But it seems like nothing works now. The alarm was working fine when I first installed it. It armed and would be set off by a door being opened or by tripping the shock sensor. After I tried to program it for the 3.5 second door lock pulse which it needed, everything has gone haywire since then. Oh by the way and now the factory vacuum door locks do not work.
