Okay, so I'll admit I don't have ALL the wires hooked up yet to the remote start... BUT. I do have a GOOD ground and a GOOD 12V constant, and both are checked. the 12 volts chcked out perfect with the DVM.

However, When i hook up the ground and the 12 volts, the brain doesn't make that satisfying RELAY CLICK when it is given power. Do i have a faulty brain? How can I bench this to see if it is bad or not?

Thanks

Chris

I don't think the actual "brain" is supposed to really click.  I've never heard mine click anyways.  Now the relays on the other hand....those have clicked before.

i dont now about thecrimestopper but usually an alrm  clicks when set off try and hook the shock sensor up to the alram and power it, arm the alarm then shake sensor that should make that relay click inside the brain.

I installed a cs2011rs on my truck. The brain never once made any clicking. Be sure to check your relays though. I had one hooked up wrong and it drained my whole system in minutes. I don't know why it did, but it just happened. To be honest, I never had anything "click" brain or relay. Make sure everything is hooked up right, and you will be very satisfied. It is an awesome system!
