ok, i am working on a 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara putting a keyless entry on it.  the problem is when you press the switch to lock it locks all doors, you press the switch to unlock it unlocks driver door only, you have to press switch twice to unlock all doors.  now, i am using a carbine pl10s keyless entry which only has a i channel lock and unlock, but it does have a second channel for a trunk pop.  does anyone know how to either unlock all the doors at the same time with lock, unlock button or how to wire the trunk pop wire to unlock the passenger doors?  any info would be great, thanx

ok.... going to try and remember this.. Am replying from a hospital bed so if anyone sees a mistake, correct me..

from alarm unlock out put to relay 86

from 86 to the positive side of a 1000-1500 micF cap (polorized) and neg side to 30

from 87a to the door unlock wire.. a diode will be put on this wire with the band going towards the relay to block the - from the DUL switch feeding the relay...

85 will go to 12 volt +

this will trigger the relay multiple times for a neg output from the alarm.. the only other thing you may have to go is step up the ground with another relay.. take the output of above (from termimal 87a) and do  a true chassis ground pulse.. 85 12v+, 30 gournd, 86 pulse from relay and 87 to the door unlock wire..

This is something I have had to do in the Toyota Sequoia works pretty good.. if that don't work.. email me and when I get back to work (hoepfully monday) will scan my notes and email yaback..

NOTE:-

On the year 2000 model the central locking must be done as follows:-

Access the Keyless Entry Module located on the O/S of the steering coloumn.

Cut the Blue/Red wire at this unit and join the car side of the cut wire to the Blue/White wire at the unit. Insulate the unit side of the cut Blue/Red wire.

Negative pulse the Pink wire to lock and the Pink/green to unlock.

This is for the UK spec vehicle.

lock = pink

unlock = pink/green

in a blue connector on left side of junction block above driver kick and will be a single pulse unlock.
