i have a problem unit was working fine for like five months i whent to start it one mornig and it cranks but does not turn on so i tried the key and it does the same thing with the key on the ingnition the security light flashes on and off,does any one know whats going on,do you think that the module for the passkey go bad?

Jose,when you put the key in a passlock 2 vehicle it does nothing until it's in the crank position then the resistor(in the ign switch becomes active.Yes I would check your bypass module or wires connected to it for a problem.

ok thanks,its weird because it was doing good,was about to look at the bypass module and whent to try it again and it turned right on

Depending on how the wires were connected onto the Passlock II module the connection may have been severed or partially severed. Check your module's connection first as stated and post your results.
