Hi there i am having a problem with my ct-3300 remote starter, it was working fine, now it will not start my truck at all, when i push the start button on my remote it just flashes my park lights 10 times continuiously, when i checked my manual that came with it, it says (10 flashes)=The hood switch line went to ground during cranking or run time? can anyone please explain to me just what that means, it is in a 2003 chevy s-10 crew cab truck any help would be greatly appreciated.

p.s i know now that this unit is junk so you don't need to tell me.

That means that the pin switch in the hood is touching the metal ( hood is open ) and this is a safety feature taht will not allow you to remote start the vehicle if the hood is up. If you recently washed the truck the water will conduct voltage and ground the switch. Look for a pin switch in the hood along side the fender's or in the front of the frame area and dry it off or readjust the height of the pin higher.
