Currently I have a code-alarm 645 series alarm that I got free from a friend. There are two switches on my clutch and i'm assuming that one is for the cruise control?
Anyway, the car remote starts just fine when I press the clutch in but does not when it's out. If you're asking if i've used a relay, then yes, I have.
I used the negative output from the brain, hooked up the 12 volt, and hooked up the two lines from the clutch to the relay but it doesn't work. To assure myself that this was the right plug, I left the harness unplugged and started my car up while it was unplugged and my foot off the clutch and it started up just fine. When you plug it back in, it won't crank unless the clutch is depressed.
Any ideas?
currently i've just left the harness unplugged to remote start it, but it feels slightly awkward not having to depress the clutch in to start the car.

3000GT clutch is a bit odd. the clutch wire is a normally closed looped circuit, youll need to interrupt the line. check my site for further info if i remember to add.
