hi i need a little help as i am adding the homelink option to my chevy pickup and need to know the wiring sequence. there is only 3 wires orange, black and white??? could someone please help me out???

is it a GM part...if it is, GM uses orange for +12 volts, black for ground, white (lamp circuit in unit possibly..map lights)...not sure on the white wire as i don't know what the part you have is.
