Sorry to sound like an idiot but I've been reading all the posts and stuff on installing door locks but I've got some real basic questions.  I've got a Clifford Concept 100 alarm that I'm going to install into a 89 Nissan 240sx (two door coupe) with no power door locks.  Does this means I have to buy two door actuators and four relays?  Will any brand SPDT relay and door actuator work for this?  I've seen door actuators on Ebay for $5 but the local install shops want $25 - is there that big a difference in quality here? How difficult is it to mount these actuators to the door?  I haven't even gotten to the wiring part yet but I figured I'd ask these basic questions before tearing things apart.  Thanks in advance guys!

Cost on most door lock actuators are around 4-5 dollars, shops charge that high dollar cause they feel people don't research it.  You can buy from wholesale places and spend less.  As for relays any will work, Bosch brand is most common.  and check in the relay forum on how to wire in relay when adding doorlocks.  As for installing them if you have never done it before, try and get a little help from someone who is willing to show you.  You would be amazed on how many different ways you can install it and it will work..

If I could I would, good luck to ya.....................
