I just left work and got home and my alrm will not arm. I keep getting the out of range beeping from my 2 way remote. I tried to disconnect power to battery and cycle the alarm , no luck. Any ideas why my alrm would stop responding all of a sudden. Its been working fine for about 11 months. Its still too cold to go outside and dismantle the car to get to the brain. I am looking for ideas on what I can try for now.

Maybe loose connection of the Antenna. Have you try putting in new battery on the remote? Use band name battery it's a lot better than the $1 for 4 stuff.

I have new battery in it. I use Energizer MAX. They seem to last the longest. I cannot get to th antenna connection at the brain due to the location right now. I would have to take my Seat out and what not. I will try to take battery out of remote for 5 minutes.
Thanks for all suggestions, if there are any other ideas let me know.

Your remote probably needs to be replaced. They usually only last about a year. My first one lasted 14 months, but the one I replaced it with lasted a month before it stopped receiving notifications from the alarm. Today I programmed remote number 3 for it. I take very good care of the remotes, but they are fragil and do break.

Only suggestion would be to disconnect the antenna cable at the antenna for a minute. I've seen that fix the problem on occasion. if it doesn't, hopefully you bought the system from an authorized dealer that will replace the defective remote for free.
