I've installed the window up/down moudule from DEI, they both go down fine, they vent, they go all the way down works good, but when I arm the alarm they won't go up at all, they just sit there, then sometimes they just move about an inch, then I have to start the car to roll them up with the switch, any help would be greatly used.

Orange wire is attached to the Armed output -500ma of the alarm brain.

Still won't go up.

hey, just wondering why did you buy a dei window module? If
you extend ground to the lock and unlock (blue red) wires in the drivers door you can roll windows up and down. so all you have to do is run two wires inside for the lock and unlock and directly tap your aux. vality channels you dont even need relays.

Because the Windows only go down when you hold the lock/arm button down, not back up so I needed the module to get the windows back up.  If you know how to make the Windows go up please let me know. other than that this is the only way I know of to get them to go down and up/ vent.

the reason they wont go back up is because the 500ma ground when armed pulse on the orange wire overrides the 200ma ground pulse on your auxilary channel.  is it a 530T by DEI that you are using for the windows?

Hey guys I figured it out, there was another poster on here that  was having the same problem.  All he did was installed a diode inbetwix the gound out and the gound in of the 530t and that fixed it, so I grabbed a diode and just like that problem solved.  This forum is great.

Thanks for the help riceman & italnpimp59

later guys.
