I'm not sure of the model but my Suburban is a '99 model and it had a Viper after-market system installed. Can someone please tell me how to disable it and enable it?

Or depending on how old the alarm is, open door, hit lock, unlock, lock and the alarm should go into Valet.

If all else fails drive it into a lake!!!

Thanks for the replies. The lake idea isn't a bad one. It's a 3/4 ton land barge and the gas mileage is killing me. I've considered taping a $100 bill to the windshield, leaving the keys inside the ignition and hoping someone will just drive it away to put me out of my misery. But the $100 will only get them to the next gas station so that won't work. LOL.

swamprat323, could you give a more detailed instruction on how to do that?  Like leave the door opened or close, how long must the ignition be on?  how long do I hold the velet switch for, etc.... I couldn't get it to work :/

once u turn in on turn it off right away and then press the valet button, All this be doen under 10 sec.
If dont work make sure the valet button is plug in all the way and make sure the IGN is hook up. To see if that is (im sure it is, but never know) that is it not in valet mose now, arm the system and turn the IGN on, if alarm sounds it hook up. remember that is if the system is not in valet mode.
Aslo try it form remote, make sure the door is open though.
