i buoght a remote start/ alarm but didnt hook up the remote start part of cuz i dont need it. my problem is that the alarm will only arm and disarm when the module has the truck "on". once the lcd screen says the car is "off "i can only unlock it and it will not arm it automatically goes to disarm and it dont even chirp
what do yall think the problem is?

well you have to read the manual you have to program the brain to lock it self plus check this
