I have a few wiring charts for 98 dodge ram and a couple of questions.  first is the Ignition wire the 18GA dark blue or 12GA blue wire in the harness?  Second, My charts list the second ignition as BLACK/ orange and accessory as BLACK/ white buts 12volts is opposite which is correct?  My system is installed and starts and runs fine, but starter kill does not kill start with key when armed and also heat/ac wont come on when left on and remote started. could this be to the swap of the second ignition and accesory wires.  thanks getting a little frustrated.

Testing your wire is the only sure way to go. Charts sometime can be misleading. And never ASS-U-ME.

12 gauge blue wire is the IGNITION wire.

IGNITION wire - This wire will test with the key switch in the run AND start position, but never in the accessory position.

"Second, My charts list the second ignition as BLACK/ orange and accessory as BLACK/ white buts 12volts is opposite which is correct?"

You do not need second ignition for remote start.
BLACK/ ORANGE is your accessory wire.

ACCESSORY wire- This wire will test with the key switch in the accessory and run position, but never in the start position. Some cars do not have an accessory wire.

You probably didn't setup the starter kill correctly.
Set it up like this.

Connect your accessory wire from your starter unit to the BLACK/ ORANGE accessory wire in the vechile harness.

So the Second Ignition wire from the system does not need to be hooked up, and if it was would that cause a problem?  It is a remote start/alarm/keyless system if that matters.  Another thing, the yellow wire in the truck does not seem to be activating the door trigger of the alarm, should the door trigger be connected to the (+) or (-) door trigger input of the system?  Thanks again
