Hello,

I tried the search option and looked through many threads but could not find the answer that I needed. Forgive me if I missed it and thanks in advance for your help. I have a 2002 GMC Sierra with a DEI Viper 791XV alarm/remote start, and whenever I unlock with the remote, the dome lights do not come on. I was wondering how I could make them come on when I pressed the unlock button. Thanks a lot and have a good one.

Use this diagram ( negative trigger ) and wire the BLACK/ WHITE wire to pin 85.

there is a push botton at the light switch with controls the dome light

Thanks guys... I just finished about a half hour ago hooking up the relay with all of the wires, and now my dome light comes on when I unlock/disarm the Viper 791XV. :) I am going to make a donation of a few bucks to 12volt.com since you guys were such great help, especially with the wiring diagram. Thanks a lot!
